''On the Edge of Forever'' is a post-apocalyptic cinematic showing the ruins of a natural disaster around the 1970s. In this reality, water has completely evaporated from the surface of the earth after a sudden spike in temperatures. The survivors, now left to themselves, had no other choice than to find an ingenious way to survive somewhere else. 150 years later, an explorer comes back to the original creation site of the city in the sky to rediscover its story. Here is a modular kit created in order to build a shantytown type environment inside and outside the abandonned ship. All of the wooden pieces were assembled using a kit of plank and wooden beams that I sculpted in Zbrush, and were textured using multiple material IDs, Megascan textures and a normal blend shader. In order to add some variety, I created a kit of corrugated metal plates as well as a drapes and cloth kit for the interior courtyard environment! Additional props by Yun Tao Tan, Shipwreck by Julio Cadet Richard, lighting by Alice Pepin-Desjardins, shaderwork by Daphnée Émond-Préfontaine, mural by Maëlig Beaupérin.
