Au-delà des écumes dorées, or "On the Edge of Forever" for our english friends, is the final project my team and I worked on here at NAD school in Montréal. It's an in-engine post-apocalyptic cinematic reciting the events of the great calamity that brought our alternate universe to ruins. It's about exploring the survivors' last bastion in this unforgiving world. A place worn by ages of stillness, buried in the sands of the windswept dunes of our world.
This project marks the end of my journey here at NAD school. I'm extremely grateful to have played a part as an environment artist on such a powerful project with some of the most talented, comprehensive and creative people here in team Cosmic Folks! We overcame an insane amount of challenges as a team. With the pandemic and all making it even harder by moments, but I believe what we achieved truely reflects our vision and expertise as individuals and as a team. I couldn't be more proud of us! A humongous thanks to the one and only Alexandre Hubert for the tips, workshops and overall help you brought through our mentorship program. I learned so much with you and I'll forever be grateful for it!
