ECHO | Sci-Fi Laboratory Door

This piece was created as the final exitway for our student game, ECHO, as part of a one year project at NAD School of Digital arts, animation and design. I was in charge of the door's production and animation in engine.

Since it was a keypoint of the environment (the player would return there a few times during a playthrough), it was important that this specific door be fully animated. There is much importance put on the blue / orange color duality in the game and since this door marked the convergence point between the two "halves", it was only logical that the two colors be represented on it. Later in production, our insanely talented audio team designed how the door would sound like, so huge kudos to them! I finally animated the door in engine using Unreal Engine's blueprint visual scripting.
